Space Tourism (Choose your favorite planet to visit it!)

By observing the history of humanity, it seems to have become crystal clear that humanity has always looked up and imagined a frontier to be conquered. It is known the researchers have dared to suborbital trips, went to the moon, and now we can try the Space Tourism. Who has ever imagined or dreamed of taking a trip into space?

According to Virgin Galactic firm`s commercial director, Stephen Attenborough, there never was an official date set for the inaugural launch and stressed in an interview at BBC - in News Technology that once the tests go well, he believes its first passengers flights will occur in 2013 and points out the safety is number one priority of the passengers. Attenborough said although all of the future tourists were eager to blast off the space, none were pushing for an early flight and complete: "They are willing to put a large amount of money up front because they trust us, because the know we will only take them to space if it`s safe to do so." At first the company expected its first commercial spacecraft - SpaceShip II, to take off as early as in 2007, but just on October 10, 2010 that Virgin Galactic Enterprise made its first solo flight.

The 2.5 - hour flights will offer five minutes of weightlessness. Tickets cost $200,000 (about R$ 348,000). Nearly 500 people have already bought their tickets. Nowadays, besides the Virgin Galactic firm there are several space companies planning to built suborbital vehicles and orbital cities for the next two decades. These companies have invested millions, believing that the space tourism industry can become viable.
